Battery Reader

This software requires the Battery Reader Part # 3116718 available from Stinger.

BatteryReader is the user interface for Stinger Medical's MPS USB Battery Reader. The device plugs into the Mobius battery and connects to the computer with a USB cable. The interface reads the battery and displays its parameters. It also offers a glossary to explain the meaning of the values displayed. The first time you run BatteryReader, you will be asked to supply 2 email addresses and the name of your email server. You can leave these blank if you will not be using the email feature. The Zip file includes the required USB DLL. It also requires the USB Drivers listed below.

Unzip the file to a folder on the C: Drive, then plug in the USB cable to the monitor. Follow the instructions on screen and point to the folder where you unzipped the files.

Clinical Adoption Support Technology (CAST Lite)

CAST Lite monitors the Mobius Power System and sends data back to Stinger for analysis. This is a software solution that allows existing workstations to benefit from this new technology without extensive hardware upgrades. It runs as a background task and will not interfere with normal usage. Requires a USB cable from the AIO to the Mobius system. Instructions and all necessary drivers are included in the zip file.

Windows Orderly Shutdown

MobiusSD

This app runs in the system tray and polls the Mobius Control Board every 5 minutes for the current state of the battery. If the main battery has less than 5 minutes of run time, or if the backup battery has less than 30 seconds of runtime, then MobiusSD will order Windows to shut down. Zip file includes the required USB DLL. Also requires the USB Drivers listed above. To install this so it start automatically, put the application here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. Put the DLL in C:\Windows\System32.

Mobius Error Reporting

ErrorReport

This application offers a simple way to report errors to your IT department. After you type in the nature of the error, you can press Send and the text will be emailed to up to 4 email addresses. The first time you run ErrorReport, you will be asked to supply the From email address, up to 4 To email addresses, and the name of your email server.

Critical Battery Alarm

For Laptops Only! This application is a fun way to remind you to replace the battery in your Mobius Power System. It displays a friendly graphic when the laptop's Critical Battery Alarm is triggered. (See separate instructions for setting this up: instructions)
